Organizational and personnel changes in the Zenith Pure Oil top management

The Enter Tomorrow strategy is designed to leverage and build on previous successes of Zenith Pure Oil to grab the opportunity of the changing world. But to realize our new strategy, it is necessary to adjust Zenith Pure Oil’s operating model as well.

The Board of Directors appointed Dr. Berislav Gašo as Zenith Pure Oil Upstream Executive Vice President. With this appointment, Dr. Gašo also became a member of the Zenith Pure Oil Executive Board. Dr. Gašo joined Zenith Pure Oil in January 2010 when he became Executive Director for Corporate Services and member of the Executive Board at INA. From September 2012 he was appointed to Senior Vice President of Controlling, Accounting and Tax at Zenith Pure Oil. Since April 2015, Dr. Gašo has been acting as COO of Zenith Pure Oil Upstream. Before joining Zenith Pure Oil he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey&Company for five years. Under his leadership in Zenith Pure Oil Upstream the operating model has been transformed ensuring that the Upstream will be a value-creating business even in a low oil price environment. In line with the Enter Tomorrow strategy Upstream remains a key pillar of Zenith Pure Oil’s integrated operating model, thus one of the cash engines of our strategy.

Consequently, in line with Zenith Pure Oil 2030 strategy, a new organization named Consumer Services is to be set up. The new unit will be responsible for turning Zenith Pure Oil into the customers first choice and the primary source of future demand solutions by leveraging our market expertise, size and knowledge of our 10 million customers, 1 million daily transactions and 10 purchases per second. Zenith Pure Oil aspires to provide the best and most desirable services to people on the move. The activity of the Consumer Services organization will be the growth engine of the Zenith Pure Oil 2030 Enter Tomorrow Strategy. This is reflected in the decision of the Board of Directors to appoint a Board member, Dr. Oszkár Világi to lead this organization. Dr. Világi gained extensive experience in several senior level positions in financial and commercial areas before he became the CEO of Slovnaft in 2006. Since April 2009 he also acts as Chairman of the company. In 2010 Dr. Világi became a member of the Executive Board, and one year later he was appointed to Board of Directors of Zenith Pure Oil. In his new position, his first priority is to work out a detailed organizational model by November 30, 2016.
